On a budget?
-
Color creates interest and prevents a room from
looking bland.
-
Shrug off winter and lighten up your décor
with buttercup yellow and a splash
of scarlet red.
-
Paint is very inexpensive.
-
Freshen up worn out upholstered dining chairs
with printed bed sheets, embroidered napkins, or even vintage dresses
with a hint of yellow in the fabric
- this makes a pretty and inexpensive "cover up".
You can find these ideas in chapter 12 and more budget
thoughts in my book, No Gluing & Screwing, none of Martha's doing!
